Law of local authorities

Law of local authorities is a set of rules that define how French local authorities (municipalities, departments, regions, etc.) and their institutions operate and act.

Elected officials must therefore consider urban planning law, the public procurement code, administrative contracts, the general code of public property and the administrative justice code. Local authorities also employ civil servants who are subject to civil service law.

Ingrid VAN ELSLANDE and her team advise elected officials daily when they do not have the legal resources in-house. She also pleads and intervenes before the administrative courts.
